Chalk the Walk 2015 in Emmaus, PA

The Emmaus Arts Orginization hosted their annual Chalk the Walk event at Triangle Park in Emmaus, Pennsylvania today. The event which took place from 9 am to 12 pm featured artists of all ages drawing with chalk on a designated block. The only criteria for the art was that it had to be family friendly and had to be done with chalk. There were butterflies, flowers, minions, duck bands, rainbows and more. In addition to the art the organization auctioned off beautifully painted rain barrels. Medical Academy Charter School 2015 Graduation

The Medical Academy Charter School located in Catasauqua, PA celebrated their graduation ceremony yesterday, June 16, 2015,  at the Holiday Inn Event Center in center city Allentown, Pennsylvania. Garcia Photography was commissioned to capture the ceremony including photos of each graduate with their diplomas and candid photos during and after the event. It was a momentous event as over 20 students graduated from this unique high school with a large portion of them also earning their CNA as part of their curriculum. The Medical Academy Charter School is the only school in the nation that has been able to confer that upon it's high school graduates. Below are some photo highlights from the event.

Medical Academy Charter School Prom at Holiday Inn in Allentown, PA

Garcia photography was hired by the Medical Academy Charter School in Allentown, PA to photograph their 2015 Senior Prom held at the Holiday Inn in Allentown, PA. The guys and gals were all dressed to impress and so were the teachers that attended. The food which was catered by Manifiesto Restaurant was delicious, authentic latino cuisine and was amazing. The music provided by DJ Gaiiko kept the dance floor filled with beats from bachata and merengue to pop and country.
